ACME is a modern bistro helmed by Executive Chef Mads Refslund offering locally sourced, seasonal New American fare with subtle Nordic influences.
The cuisine offers combinations of flavors both familiar and unexpected within the comfort of a casual dining setting. Located in the heart of Noho, the restaurant was opened in January 2012 by Jean-Marc Houmard and Huy Chi Le of Indochine, and Jon Neidich in the space formerly occupied by the long-time Cajun mainstay ACME. While completely revamping the space and concept, the owners decided to keep the name and the facade, as a nod to the history of the neighborhood. In addition to 25 tables in the dining room, Acme has an eating bar and rail reserved for walk-in diners on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our wine director Craig Atlas has curated a list showcasing wines from small production, artisinal winemakers with a focus on sustainability, balance, and vitality.
